Addiction Treatment Program
Participants in Alberta will be able to receive a psychiatric assessment and treatment available from addictions expert Dr. Avi Aulakh, MD, FRCOC, DABAM. HerRecovery also offers our alumni lifetime aftercare to support the individuals through our alumni program and peer connections making a positive and permanent change in their lives
Our program is 4, 8 or 12 weeks in length with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) being completed after the fourth week. Participants will receive one-on-one counselling, group therapy, family skills and fellowship meetings (both in-house and in the community). Our program is structured with scheduled times for physical activity like yoga, fitness classes, and outdoor walks as well as recreational programming like gardening and Paint Nights.
Following their successful completion, each participant will receive a Completion Certificate, will have access to our Lifetime Aftercare Program and receive membership in the HerRecovery Alumni Group.
The HerRecovery Treatment Program Includes:
- Rapid access facility (no wait list)

HerRecovery’s addiction treatment program provides treatment for most types of addiction disorders such as drugs or alcohol. Participants at our facilities are often treated for multiple substance abuse addictions concurrently which may include:
